While this report is mandated by Congress it gives as few details as possible on any of the sightings. There are just numbers and a few qualifiers and that's it. How is it that we can determine whether or not the sighting was from an adversary or not? If so many reports are not then what are they doing about it? There is no explanation given because there cannot be as per the revelations of the whistleblower(s) David Grusch and now Dr. James Lacatski who have reported that US military/contractors have in their possession craft and or materials recovered from non-human intelligences. In other words there cannot be explanations in these reports that lead the public to verify this possibili…

However, the DNI and AARO could avert the crash retrieval issue altogether (their hands might be tied by the White House for that matter) and still provide considerably more data about what we are seeing and collecting today vs. whatever they may have found long ago. Regardless of the recovery issue, we can and should do better in terms of informing the public and advancing science.
